Moving in a dozen directions at once. Bubbling with enthusiasm. That's Bridget LeRoy. Bridget was a 'Broadway baby' born in New York City and raised on movie sets. Her legendary family began with great grandfather Harry Warner who, with his brother Jack, immigrated from Poland in the 1880s and set up shop as cobblers in Baltimore. Their early success let them move to Hollywood where they started Warner Brothers studio -- and the rest as they say is history. Her grandfather continued in motion pictures as an Oscar winning director who discovered Clark Gable and worked with such greats as Judy Garland. Her father, Warner LeRoy, was well known as the founder of Maxwells Plum, a Manhattan restaurant favorite among theater goers. Bridget has carried on many of the family traditions. She now has her own radio program on WNTK in New London, and with husband Eric owns the New London Inn. |
